October 25th 2008.
Saturday, a big festival is happening at a place 45min north west from where I live. I was looking forward to this as the Dai Lai Lama would be attending and making a speech as well.
I woke at 0430, my stomach rumbling, I tried to ignore the feeling and fall asleep again but the it kept growing and growing until I couldn't stand it. The next minute, I was rushing to the restroom. I managed to fall asleep again, but I awoke a few hours down, and noticed the same problem. At 0800 I got dressed and wanted to head out, but something inside me was telling me I can't. And well, I couldn't either, because I kept rushing to the restroom. I had been struck with the dreaded Tourist Diorhea! (at least that's what I think for now). All plans were cancelled, and I would have to stay in my room the whole day. Luckily, I had moved into a nice room that was spacy, and it has cable tv! I wasn't able to hold anything down, so all I was doing was trying to rehydrate myself as much as possible. I had also dared to head out to the streets to get some bottled water and some bread, as eating starchy food is recommended. I really felt like shit, nausea, feeling of dehydration and slight stomach cramps, and the constant running to the toilet. It was just to wait until it passes...

yuck! Poor you, I remember when I got a loose stomach when we were travelling in Bali. It ended up with the hotel doctor giving me an injection on my butt.
That was just awfull. Didn´t u take some serogan?
That bus ride sounds like it was from hell. Unbelievable, how are you planning to take yourself down south?
Isn´t it better to travel by train than by buss? I mean there are toilets and u can walk around, strech your legs etc.
Last Fri, I had my b day party. Too bad u weren´t here it was really nice. I think u would have liked the food, tex mex with flaskfile. U know that F usually bakes my cake right, so everybody was looking forward to it after dinner. But guess what? It was stone hard! He forgot to put in the eggs, so it was burnt and damm hard. Luckly the Mom had baked some Tiggerkaka too. Ha ha that was funny. Poor F.
Today I went pumkin picking too. So nice... I bought so many different kinds of pumpkins to have as decorations. I carved a jack o lantern, saying Y love F. Unforutnately I broke the little global knife... not so good. Maybe next year we can carve together. I´m going to bake the seeds now.
How much did u go down in weight?
Hugs Akki
Take care of yourself
I havn't decided how to go down south yet, and some places like this place is only accessable by bus. sigh. Trains usually have a waiting time too, as they are often booked to the max. 3-4 days till you can get a ticket, so it's wise to book early, if you know when you're leaving.
Too bad about the cake, I'm sure he'll make you another one, since he loves you sooo much hehehe.
